CAIR-CT Week in Review

3:30 p.m. --- Hartford is open for business! Mayor Perezwill welcome the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR Connecticut) to Hartford!

CAIR is one of the largest Islamic civil liberties groups in thecountry, with 32 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. This organization will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new office, located on 57 Pratt Street, Suite 707 in DowntownHartford.

Thank ABC for Highlighting Islamophobia

CAIR today called on American Muslims and other people of conscience to thank ABC "Primetime" for a segment that highlighted both the Islamophobic attitudes present in our society and the support ordinary citizens of all faiths will offer to those targeted by bias.

CAIR 2008 Election website provides the latest news and opinions relating to Muslims and elections nationwide. It also includes positions of the presidential candidates on key issues, examples of anti-Muslim rhetoric from candidates for all levels of public office and links to the websites of Muslims running for public office.
